Preliminary information
The International Fund for Christian Science Nursing (IFCSN) is a fund administered by The Principle Foundation, a public charity registered in the USA. Its charter enables its donors to devote more of their resources to supporting Christian Science nursing and its activities. IFCSN can make grants on a need-basis and for this reason we have to ask for the applicants’ financial information. Please be assured that this information is collected in compliance with data privacy laws following the highest standards of data protection, and is kept in strict confidence.
Please note that filling the application form will be smoother and more accurate if you gather all the necessary information beforehand.

Steps to take to get to the application
Note: A Personal Representative or Power of Attorney can submit an application on behalf of a requester.
- Register and create unique login to this portal
- Sign consent forms as part of the registration process
- Fill out the online application
- Upload any requested documents
- Submit application
- Be available for a brief phone interview with us
When you’re ready to apply for an IFCSN grant, the process will be smoother if you gather information ahead. This is what you will be asked for while filling out the application form:
- Your contact information
- Annual income
- Net worth (assets {what you own} less primary residence less liabilities {what you owe}). Calculate your net worth with the help of the IFCSN worksheet here and at the button above to help you prepare the information that should be inserted in the online application later on.
- Cost of care from care providers (Christian Science nurse and practitioner or Christian Science nursing organisation)
- Name and contact information of these care providers and their consent to contact them
- Other resources available to contribute to your costs
PLEASE NOTE: If you are a Personal Representative or a Power of Attorney make sure to select the appropriate role during the registration process and it will then assist you to provide proper documentation.
A grant committee processes your application. In order to maintain the confidentiality of the requester and to comply with data privacy requirements, your personal information is not shared with grant committee members other than the International Fund Grant Administrator who receives your application. Personal information is not disclosed to other grant committee members. Your personal information is used only to finalise the application and make any awarded grant payments.
